The folks at Seat Geek and Hotels.com have crunched the numbers to determine the best American cities for Sports Travel and Chicago barely made the top 10. Tampa, however, landed the No. 4 spot thanks to the city's desirable location and affordable ticket prices for sporting events.
The study put the average price of a hotel room and a ticket to an event in Tampa at $166.
