BALTIMORE — Steve Pearce hit his first career grand slam and J.J. Hardy singled in the tie-breaking run in the eighth inning to lead the Orioles. Tommy Hunter worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the eighth, and Zach Britton got three straight outs for his ninth save.
